Overtime Policies

Overtime Policies allow administrators to set a different pay rate when employees work more than a predetermined duration.

An Overtime Policy consists of:

  • An Overtime Policy Name
  • One or more Overtime Threshold and Rate


If you need to pay employees time-and-a-half when they work more than 40 hours per week, you would set the Overtime Policy as:

  • Overtime Policy Name: Staff Overtime
  • Overtime Type: Weekly
  • Overtime Threshold: 40 hours
  • Overtime Rate: 1.5

To Assign an Overtime Policy, tap the Pay Policies section of an employee's Record.
